Cancellation Policy

1. Client Cancellations
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
The cancellation date is counted from the moment we receive the request.
Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

2. Weather Conditions
Tours are rarely cancelled due to weather.
The captain may adjust the route at any time for safety - this is not considered a valid reason for a refund.

3. Minimum Group Requirement (For Shared Cabin Tours)
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, Mare Anima may:
•offer a new date,
•offer a different yacht of similar category,
•issue travel credit,
•offer a partial refund if no alternative is possible.

4. Cancellation Due to Force Majeure
No refunds are issued for cancellations caused by:
•storms
•natural disasters
•political unrest
•pandemics
•airline disruptions
•closed ports
Clients may receive credit, valid for 12 months.

5. Replacement of Participant
If the client cannot attend, they may transfer their spot to another person up to 14 days before the trip, subject to approval.
